#1: What do I need for the price comparison
The only thing you need is your web browser. However, you need to activate cookies so the comparison can be saved. Also, javascript is required.
#2: How do you obtain the Top10 lists for print services?
For the Top 10s we worked out a sample order. It's typical orders you and me could place every day. For each of the companies we list, the price for the 3 orders is calculated. Using this price, all companies are compared and the cheapest ones are listed in the Top 10.
#3: How do I write a review for a service?
Simply choose the company you want to review in this list. You will then be asked to enter a name and a valid email address. Your email address is only used for the activation of your review and not abused for an kind of spam or advertising! After that you can rate the company in different categories and write a few lines about your experiences. You will receive an activation email - your review won't be available on cheap-photoprints.co.uk until you have activated it clicking the link in the email.
#4 How do you obtain the rating for each service
The mark given in the review section is obtained by averaging all marks from our user ratings.
#5 Do you take into account how many reviews are written for a service?
Yes. Companies that have few reviews are not as high in the list as companies that got very many reviews. This prevents new services that are rated very good from immediately entering the list on the first place which diminishes abuse of our rating system.
