Well, despite negative reviews, I feel I must ‘speak as I find’ and for me, the service was excellent - three emails keeping me informed of progress, delivery was just seven days from placing order, and printing quality was good. For the price, I couldn’t fault the service.Review from the U.S.

DO NOT USE! Aspect ratio issues means they can take your money and then refer to this if it is easier for them to print pictures at a different size than advertised on their site. No mention of this when uploading and agreeing to payment (just hidden on another page so they can quote it when it suits). Once you spend half an hour on a phone all you get is a long worded email basically blaming you for the issue and no way for them to rectify it (really!!!!). Half a refund and voucher for your next order (yeah right!) as a 'gesture of goodwill (insulting!). Prints also took far longer than advertised to arrive.Review from the U.S.

Don't buy these if you have a deadline as their delivery times advised on their website are way out and my photos did not arrive anywhere near their stated timescales and I couldn't use them in my community event, which was very very bad. Customer service is awful. They didn't care that they had caused such a problem with delays in delivery. They refunded my payment but wouldn't pay anything towards the (higher) cost of me getting replacement prints for my event with only 3 days notice that they were not going to be delivered on time. Terrible and completely useless. Don't risk it unless you have no deadline that you need the prints for.....Review from the U.S.

Like others before me I fell foul of their cropping policy. Any other company I have used have warned me about the problem with digital prints and how they may be cropped. I thought I had sorted this with Aldi but when they arrived they were not 6x4 as ordered but smaller. On complaining I received an email blaming me. Reading review sites this seems very common. Never again and I hope others dad this.Review from the U.S.

Bad experience - not recommended! I uploaded my photos online and there were no error messages or details that I had made any mistakes. When the photos finally arrived, they had been printed in different formats - none of them matching what I had ordered and paid for. According to Aldi's customer service, this was my fault as I was supposed to crop the images beforehand. Their response: "Other providers may use a different printing process where the amount of pixels are reduced to get the size, but we do not do this and we instead keep the pixels and edit the size to do print this with the best quality possible." So basically you place an order for a specific format(s) and they will deliver whichever they think it's best. Complete waste of time and money!Review from the U.S.

Terrible, terrible Service. Ordered calendars for Christmas didn't arrive. Phoned to find out status, nobody knew. Customer Services only screen calls they do NOTHING to resolve, but pass on the enquiry to a mystery service centre, with the promise of a 48-hour response. 168 hours later, I do not know where my calendars are, whether I am getting new calendars, whether I am getting a refund. And nobody cares despite several emails and phone calls. AVOID. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Aldi Photo if you really do want to improve, please simply find a way of responding with some useful information, rather than ignoring your customers.Review from the U.S.

AVOID!!! I ordered 2/12/2016 for Christmas gifts. Initial email said expected despatch 08/12. After receiving no despatch email & no products I emailed them. It has been sent out without a "scan". Guess what, they DO NOT know where it is! No apology, only a reprint offer (due too late) or a refund! USELESS!Review from the U.S.

Amazingly hopeless organisation - don't think of using it. Unreliable, disorganised and an arrogant ineffective helpline. 13 days and they still ahven't printed my order let alone dispatched it - does not deserve any starsReview from the U.S.

I ordered colour 12 x 18'' (30 x 45 cm) (glossy) prints. Ordered them on the 22nd of Feb and got them on the 29th. Paid £8.93, which was a bargain. I was expecting low quality prints and that may take more than two weeks to be delivered, as the price was so low. I was very pleased with the quality of the prints. Much better than Photobox and simialr to Snapfish. I am ordering now 10 more posters. Recommended!Review from the U.S.

I was tempted by the Aldi offer of 75 free prints - big mistake! Upload and ordering was easy - but that was the best of the service. The Disney song 'Someday my prints will come' ran through my head during the 15 day wait. When the prints eventually came they were not worth the postage. The good news was that they are printed on Kodak paper - which has always given me the best prints. Not this time though as Aldi had somehow made them more like the worst of the - now defunct - True Print. Less than half the prints were just tolerable. Another quarter were dubious. Most of the remaining quarter were really poor with my carefully ajusted greens printed anywhere from yellow to a really grotty blue green - near turquoise. Blues were anywhere between washed out and too vivid. The remainder were just unbelievably bad with colours all over the place - more like an old, worn out video. I have been getting photo prints for many decades now and these were undoubtedly the worst I have ever seen. Sizes were generally 6 x 4" - but some were 6.5 x 4"!!!!!!!!!!! I use a quality camera and process all pictures to as near perfect as I can. The colours are carefully adjusted to be as near correct as possible. All pictures are a 3:2 aspect - so all the excuses so far given to other posters are not at all valid. My honest advice - stay well clear of this company!Review from the U.S.

Downloaded 99 prints twice because the website crashed on the first set, then selected all prints to be 6x4 to fit into a holiday album but when they arrived I got just under half 5x4 and the rest 7x4. Got told it was a ‘Aspect ratio’ problem and these could not be printed in 6x4. Would have to send prints back if I needed a refund. IF YOU ADVERTISE 6x4 GIVE 6x4 OR SAY WHEN ORDERING THEY CAN’T HAVE THEM THAT SIZE!Review from the U.S.

Tried to purchase my free 75 photos using promotional code. Software took ages to load photos, and then when I came to make payment system crashes, it then accepts payment and message came up saying thankyou for payment, but no orders in my account and no email confirmation. Aldi have supposed to have updated their software??? Recommend you go somewhere else like snapfish!!!Review from the U.S.

I ordered a snow globe for a friends birthday. it came within a week but i had to assemble it myself and cut it to shape. this was an awful buy that i would certainly not recommend. it is not worth it you may as well go to snapy snaps and pay less for better value.Review from the U.S.

I ordered 200 prints all 10x15 (6x4) I received 1 10x10 4 17x10 and 195 13x10. So out of 200 prints not a single one was the right size. Some were duplicates which I did not ask for I suspect to cover the fact others were not printed! I have sent them all back. What a waste of time & money!Review from the U.S.

Ridiculously poor service – avoid! I don’t usually write reviews, but given my poor experience with Aldi photo service, felt compelled to warn other would-be customers! My order still hasn’t arrived after nearly a month and numerous calls to customer service, who are utterly incapable to providing any useful information or assistance. Advice: avoid Aldi photo service and go elsewhere! Full details below: We placed a small order for some standard prints and enlargements on the 14th Dec hoping to get them in time for Christmas. After a couple of days we get a dispatch notice, but after waiting a week nothing arrives. We call customer services and they say it’s probably lost and will issue a reprint; so far so good. We request if it can expedited in time for Christmas, and they say there’s nothing they can do and it may take 10 days for it to arrive – disappointing enough, but little did we know it was just the beginning. Another week passes and we receive an email to ask us to provide details on the reprint request – strange, as they already know the order was lost. Another call, and it turns out they haven’t even issued the reprint yet, but will ‘escalate’ the matter. They never got back to us, and further calls were just met with a ‘the matter’s been escalated but we haven’t heard back yet’ and they couldn’t offer any information on what went wrong or assurances that it was actually going to be resolved. Will probably give up soon and re-order elsewhere and it’s not really worth the time to keep pursuing...Review from the U.S.

First order went through fine. Second order - no confirmation email - order 'lost'. Managed to contact support eventually who claimed they never received the order. However they did manage to place a deferred charge against my card (which they later found and reversed). How it's possible to have my card details without the order is a mystery. Support people didn't want to resolve issue, the best they could offer was that I start over and place the order again. I went elsewhere. I won't be returning.Review from the U.S.

On the ALDI photo service website (MEDION)I selected and added over 200 photos, when I got to the shopping basket page I entered the promotion code and pressed "order" I was then told my shopping basket was empty. The same happened if I didn't use the promotion code. The site refused to accept my password so I twice requested a new password -- the site still would not accept the passwords that they themselves had generated. I gave up and went to SNAPFISHReview from the U.S.

Prints at least as good I've as I've had from the usual online services, fast turn round, and the 12"x18" was very well packaged (very strong tube and rolled with tissue paper to prevent scratching. The upload is a bit flakey, because IE blocked a popup on the payment page I had to redo my order. But all in all brilliant value for money.Review from the U.S.

Software is totally unstable. I took hours perfecting a large order, putting in payment details etc. as soon as you try to send payment it crashes and you lose everything you have done. I tried unloading and reloading and the same thing happens. I asked for help and got an email asking stupid questions as if it was the customers fault. The need to sort out the software before launching it.Review from the U.S.
